HOW WE HELPED
70% energy savings from LED lighting installation
Before moving into new offices in Melksham, Old Mill wanted to ensure that the working environment created was comfortable and productive for all occupants. Old Mill partnered with SMARTech energy to develop an energy efficient lighting, heating and cooling strategy for their new offices.
Our specialist lighting design included the retrofit of all lighting to commercial LED lighting and the implementation of motion detectors to achieve more energy savings. Our team also installed a new air conditioning system in order to improve the environment for the staff and clients. The system incorporated energy efficient solutions and was specified as a cooling and heating solution for comfort.
The result was that the LED lighting solution delivers over 70% energy savings from the traditional T8 Fluorescent lighting and additional heat reduction of approximately 90%
